Dental Implants

Dr. Naples has devoted a large part of his practice to implant dentistry. Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for the replacement of missing teeth. They look, feel and function just like natural teeth. Dental implants regain your ability to eat virtually anything with confidence.

Implants can replace a single missing tooth or an entire arch of teeth.
They may also be used to anchor upper and lower dentures, so that the denture will snap into place without movement.

The implant itself is a small titanium post, which is inserted into the jawbone where teeth are missing. These metal anchors act as tooth root substitutes. They are surgically placed into the jawbone. The bone bonds with the titanium(3 to 6 months), creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth.

Implant procedures may be done in one or two stages. All your treatment options will be discussed at length with you at your initial consultation.
